Textiles from Bali

Not my main focus, but I have the right suppliers when you need them

I’ll be upfront about this: textiles aren’t at the core of what I do. Furniture, natural stone, building materials, and home decor are where I spend most of my sourcing time and where my supplier relationships are deepest. That said, I do have trusted textile suppliers in Bali. And for clients who are primarily ordering furniture or stone and want to add fabric goods to the same container, I can absolutely handle it.

What I can source in textiles

  • Sarongs wholesale in batik, ikat, and tie-dye, for beach retailers, spa suppliers, and resort shops
  • Batik fabric by the metre, traditional Balinese and Javanese designs
  • Traditional ikat cloth
  • Selected fashion pieces from established Bali producers

When to include textiles in your order

Textiles add well to a mixed-category container. If you’re shipping furniture from Bali and want to include a few hundred sarongs or some fabric, I can source and consolidate these with your main order. The same applies to home decor from Bali, where fabric fills the space that awkward-shaped goods leave behind.

For large-scale textile-only sourcing operations, where textiles are your primary business, you’d benefit from a specialist textile sourcing agent. I’ll tell you that upfront rather than overstate what I offer here. If your order is mostly other categories, see how I work as a Bali sourcing agent.
