For Online Store Owners

Unique products that can’t be found on Alibaba. Real wholesale, from real workshops.

The online stores doing well with Bali products have one thing in common: they’re selling things that can’t be replicated by mass-market alternatives. Handmade pieces with character, natural materials with variation, products with an authentic story behind them. The stores that struggle are the ones trying to compete on generic products. Bali’s value is in the handmade, the natural, the unique. I help online store owners source the right end of that spectrum.

What I source for online retailers

How it works for online sellers

Minimum quantities

Most workshops I work with have minimum quantities per design, usually 20–100 pieces depending on the product. This varies by product type and I’ll give you the specific minimums for whatever you’re looking at.

This is wholesale, not dropshipping

I’ll be direct: managing per-order individual shipping from Bali for an online store isn’t a service I provide. The economics don’t work for either of us. You buy wholesale inventory, ship it to your location or fulfilment centre, and sell from there.

Product documentation

I can arrange detailed product photography at the source before shipping, which is useful for populating your store before goods arrive. Everything ships with proper commercial invoices for customs.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the minimum order to make shipping from Bali worthwhile?

It depends on the product and your margins. A good rule of thumb: if your order doesn’t fill at least 2–3 CBM, LCL shipping costs will eat significantly into your margins. I’ll give you a shipping cost estimate so you can model this before committing.

Can I source products exclusively, so competitors can’t buy the same thing?

In some cases yes, with minimum order agreements. More realistically: Bali products are handmade and naturally varied, which means even the same design from the same workshop will have variation. That natural uniqueness is your competitive advantage.

Can you find products based on what sells well in my market?

Tell me what categories and price points work for your audience, and I’ll focus my supplier search accordingly. I can’t guarantee sales, but I can find products that match your market positioning.

This is my first import. Where do I start?

Read how to import from Bali. It covers the whole sequence from brief to delivery, including the costs most first-time buyers forget.
